MICHELLE LOWE-HOLDER FOR TOPSHOP #1 - 'SS 2007'

September 2006 one of TOPSHOP brands buyers found herself "falling in love" with a Michelle Lowe-Holder hand painted range in a boutique in Los Angelos. A month later MLH Studio was in meetings with TOPSHOP to create a small jersey print line
Plans for a small t shirt range were quickly abandoned for a full range of “ favourites ” from previous main line collections over the course of 2007 with 4 capsule ranges.

#1 SS2007 saw the delivery of ultra feminine dresses, shorts, tops and shirts in neutral grey and cream with signature "etched" floral print and hand painting effect.

#2 SS2007 collection included jersey hoodys, t-shirts, bell sleeve wrap tops and draped vest with "flower power" print. Signature pleated bow t-shirts inspired from the main line collection sold out.

#3 AW2007 features the Michelle Lowe-Holder "bead smocking" detail. A top selling style for many years in the mainline Michelle Lowe-Holder collection - this was coupled with knitwear and stripy scarves and pompoms.Chiffon hoodys and empire waist jackets complete the look.

#4 AW2007 included "black" evening looks for the xmas season. Simple shapes of boxy style jacket, car coat and evening shirt were detailed with signature pleated bow. Fragile dotted tulle skirt and aqua & black striped cotton bow shirt were top sellers. Pleated satin empire waist dress and delicate cotton pleated tie top in black also added to the sophisticated collection.

MICHELLE LOWE-HOLDER FOR TOPSHOP sold in over 100 shops in UK plus sales in Spain, Denmark, Sweden, Indonesia, Singapore, Japan and Kuwait.
